In an essay entitled (The Unpopular Cinema) Pasolini attack
the prevalent notion in Italy that an avant- garde film must
embody a political or ideological position , The truly liberated cinema ,
Pasolini claimed : represent not outmoded political veiws,but , rather
the spectacle of the creativity of its maker, its medium in ultimately
its message

It is not any specific and limited political content
but the joy we as spectators experience from the sight of
artist's absolute freedom in his creation of images , stories ,and
fables that sonstitutes the unique humanistic vision of the cinema .
